Acoustic Simulation with EASE 5-FE | A Three-Day Virtual Workshop

This is a three-day live online event dedicated to unveiling the new version of EASE 5-FE.

Day I: Wednesday 25.10.2023, 10.00 to 18.00 CEST (Central Europe Summer Time)
Day II: Thursday 26.10.2023, 10.00 to 18.00 CEST
(Central Europe Summer Time)
Day III: Friday 27.10.2023, 10.00 to 18.00 CEST (Central Europe Summer Time)

The primary focus of the first day is to provide participants with fundamental acoustic concepts pertaining to acoustic simulation and to offer an overview of the structural intricacies of EASE 5-FE. Noteworthy deviations between EASE 5-FE and its predecessor, EASE 4.4, will be elucidated, particularly for users acquainted with the latter.

The second day revolves around an in-depth exploration of the features and tools inherent to EASE 5-FE, emphasising their application in modeling and analyzing room acoustics and speaker systems. An operational project will be employed to demonstrate workflow dynamics as well as input and output procedures.

The third and final day is earmarked for an extended exposition of additional features and tools within EASE 5-FE, with a particular emphasis on EASE AURA and Auralization. A supplementary project will be formulated to underscore comprehension of all presented concepts.

Each day of the online training encompasses six hours of live sessions conducted in English, segmented into four equitably timed sessions, each spanning 90 minutes.

The minimum cohort size for the training is set at 8 learners, with a maximum cap of 15 learners for each session.

For those learners devoid of an EASE 5-FE license, a temporary license for training purposes will be dispatched ahead of the commencement of the online instruction.

Participants are encouraged to pose queries during sessions or in the immediate aftermath of the event, thereby facilitating responsive clarifications and explanations.
