Speech Intelligibility: Impact of Signal Type and Noise Floor on Simulation

This is one of five live online sessions of the series Advanced Topics in EASE® 5.0

This live online session dives deeper into intelligibility analysis and how signal type, background noise, and system configuration affect STI and other performance metrics, as well as how to use EASE for targeted optimization.

About the Series

The objective of this series is to take participants' EASE 5.0 skills beyond the basics by addressing advanced applications. It dives into more intricate concepts and practical workflows that reveal the analytical power of EASE. Across five focused sessions, 90 minutes each, participants will learn how to interpret, optimize, and validate acoustic simulations with greater confidence and precision.

Each 90-minute session combines expert instruction, demonstrations, and guided discussion, designed for professionals who already use EASE but want to deepen their technical understanding and modeling accuracy.

Who Should Attend

 • Acousticians, consultants, and system designers experienced with EASE 4 or 5

 • Engineers involved in room design, system tuning, and performance prediction

 • Advanced users seeking to improve interpretation and decision-making from simulations

Certificate of Completion
Participants to the full series shall receive a certificate of completion.
